This group is for photos that are listed in the Top 10 of Flickr's Most Interesting photos for any date.
Go to any month on Flickr's Interestingness calendar (see below), click on a date, then click the Most interesting photos from [date] link. If one of your photos is listed in the first 10 for that date, it is eligible for this group. Please add it to the pool! You can also find the current ranking for each of your photos with fd's easy-to-use scout.
...and if your photo is #1 for a particular date, please add the tag: interestingness1.
The About Interestingness page provides some hints on what makes a photo 'interesting.' There are apparently many factors in Flickr's formula. The degree of Interestingness and a photo's ranking can change over time. Any photo eligible for the pool can (and should!!) remain in the pool even if it falls out of the top 10.
