IC is closed. No new images will be added to the group pool.

It was meant to be a group gallery of what inspires members on FLickr. A place to share that breath of creativity and the simple joy of being invigorated, stimulated by fellow Flickrites. A place to acknowledge and expand the resources of personal creativity by sharing, commenting and selecting images that affect the fundemental muse of having a vision and following it.
At it's best, it was a group to visit daily to find a connection to the qua (being, existence, essence) of inspiration.

That is gone and has been for some time.
You can still find it though if you look through the Spotlight threads,Theme threads, or view the group pool on FlickrRiver.
It is not in one place here, or owned by any one member of the group.

To quote Nietzsche [Completely out of context to his original reference]:
ICC was the "affirmation of life, even in its strangest and sternest problems, the will to life rejoicing in its own inexhaustibility...beyond [Aristotelian] pity and terror, to realize in oneself the eternal joy of becoming..."

There may be new IC groups forming in the future and I have many of the current and former members here on my contacts list to invite, should a new group be formed.

Inspiration-Inspiring
The impetus for creating this group is simple: Inspirational images.
Inspiring: to fill with an exalting influence: to produce or arouse (a feeling, thought, etc.): to fill or affect with a specified feeling, thought, etc.: to influence or impel: to animate, as an influence, feeling, thought, or the like, does:.

We all come across images in Flickr that are simply inspiring. The image enriches the viewer. This is a gallery dedicated to those works that exhibit ideas and points of view out of the ordinary that shine well outside the glow of the Flickr pages.
This group is meant to share works that you find Inspire you. Once you are a member, you may post images of your own that have the same qualities.

No appointment is necessary to view this Collection. Stop by anytime. :)
