About Indie Artist Merchandising, Advertising, and Promo

This group is for anyone who is an independent artist/designer/crafter. How do you promote your work? Where do you advertise? What do you do to generate sales? Where to you sell your work?

Let's share with each other the most effective places to sell, promote, and advertise (free or paid). Share tips and techniques, and experiences both positive and negative. Offer polite critiques and advice to one another, share ideas, and help our fellow crafters make a living off of their talents!

Members are encouraged to start and participate in group discussions to share ideas, ask questions, and get to know one another. Members are also strongly encouraged to invite people! Invite all your contacts - the more people get involved the more informed we will all be! Be friendly and supportive of one another, and have fun!

-screen shots of blogs/websites that featured your work
-photos of other places your work was featured or advertised
-photos of promotional items - stickers, buttons, business cards, product labels, flyers, etc.
-photos/screen shots of your advertisement or promotion
-screen shots of website you use to promote yourself
-other photos or screen shots of this nature

NOT OK TO ADD
-photos of your products or the products of others
EXCEPTION - if your product has a label or tag that is promotional and is clear in the photo I will let it slide and consider it a promotional photo.

REMEMBER- this is a place to share about promoting, NOT a place to promote yourself. There are plenty of other places for that and photos that do not fit the group theme will be removed.
