About WPT Photo Contest - Parrots of India
Please contribute your photos of Indian parrots to participate in this photo contest.

Contest rules:
Submitted photos should be of a native parrot species photographed in their natural habitat (images of birds in captivity will not be allowed).

Alexandrine Parakeet (Psittacula eupatria)
Plum headed Parakeet (Psittacula cyanocephala)
Blossom headed Parakeet (Psittacula roseata)
Malabar Parakeet (Psittacula columboides)
Slaty headed Parakeet (Psittacula himalayana)
Grey headed Parakeet (Psittacula finschii)
Nicobar Parakeet (Psittacula caniceps)
Rose breasted parakeet (Psittacula alexandri)
Long tailed parakeet (Psittacula longicauda)
Derbyan Parakeet (Psittacula derbyana)
Rose ringed Parakeet (Psittacula krameri)
Please note:
1) Photographs of parakeet nests or fledgling birds will not be eligible.
2) The WPT retains the rights to use all submitted images for print and online publications.
3) Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 best photographs, and also for the best photo of each species.
4) Judges for the contest are Dr. Jamie Gilard and Steven R. Milpacher of the World Parrot Trust.
