About Indian Peaks Wilderness & James Peak Wilderness, Colorado

This is a group for photos taken in the beautiful Indian Peaks and James Peak Wilderness areas in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains west of Boulder, Colorado. This area includes the mountains forming the Continental Divide to the north of the I-70 corridor and south of Rocky Mountain National Park, preserving a total of about 90,700 acres of pristine, rugged mountain terrain. Located only about a one-hour drive away from the Denver/Boulder metro area, these wilderness areas offer fantastic outdoor recreational (and photographic) opportunities!
