24 Feb 11 - Have a non chain restaurant you love? Or one you come across in your travels? The food doesn't have to be great but please give a bit of a description along with the photo. PLEASE, Include it's location so we could stop by and enjoy the place if we are in the area. It would be great to be able to make this into an informal tour guide to restaurants. Focus on the restaurant/food; please limit to 5 of one place. W/o description it may be deleted.

About Independently Owned Restaurants

Tired of the same old food everywhere you go? Want to find some new and interesting places to visit? Post photos of your favorite INDEPENDENTLY owned/operated restaurants. This can include pictures of the restaurant, the food, the folks who own and/or work there. Keep it pleasant, though. These can be "Mom and Pop" diners or small places to the most elaborate, elegant place you've been. Just make sure they are not chains (though the owner may have opened a couple or three - just needs to be owned by a person/family). Try to include an explanation of why it is special to you.
