About Bus UK Independent Bus Companies of Sedgemoor

A Group dedicated to the public service vehicles belonging to independent bus operators in the area covered by the current Sedgemoor District Council.

The Council itself has never operated buses - it is simply convenient to divide Somerset up into smaller chunks for the purpose of recording its buses and using the District Council and Unitary Authority boundaries seems as good a method as any.

Sedgemoor covers Bridgwater, Burnham on Sea and much of the low lying Somerset Levels include the site of the Battle of Sedgemoor near Weston Zoyland.

Please only upload photos of vehicles in service in the area i.e. not when in service with a previous or later owner.

National Bus Company subsidiaries and their successors are covered by other Groups.

Members are encouraged to play an active role in sharing photos, adding further information by way of comments and tags, and in discussions.
