That was taken with a 40d- as is, no cropping or post processing. I thought maybe you guys could crop it to include the monuments, and do a B&W for the entire shot, EXCEPT you guys. That way, you stand out?

Wow - congrats - I'm so glad someone was able to help you have a memory of the inauguration AND your engagement. That'll be quite the story to share with your kids someday. Oh - and really, I think that's the most well thought out, romantic proposal I've heard in a long time. :)
