This photo group is dedicated to the recognition and collection of intelligently improvised design in whatever form that may take. As the title implies, the group's main focus is on architectural space but by no means is it limited to it.

Often times the improvised and temporary appear uncoordinated and unplanned and just plain ugly. However with a critical eye one can begin to see that there is often great ingenuity and beauty inherent in these designs.

We believe that Improvised design is the ultimate exercise of talent and necessity. In addition it provides the potential to address and help in many situations.

Feel free to post images of your own or that you’ve found. We encourage you to add your own comments and insight to your images as well as others.
