TMI- The Modern Impressionists (An old group name, 2 modernized themes)
This group is for your BEST NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY and your BEST ARTWORK
Note: for nature, we are looking for photography seen in its natural beauty, or enhanced by HDR, textures and editing software.
Note: for artwork, we are looking for originality, quality and art that uses imagination. Must be your original creation or a picture of your original creation within our allowed theme.
PLEASE.....no man-made objects, cityscape, domestic animals (pets), people or portraits of people; whether in your nature capture or artwork. Our theme was narrowed around 2009 to omit these subjects in order to keep the group growth manageable. Looking through our group pool you will find these subjects in pictures before this change.
Note: occasionally we will accept these things if it is NOT the main focus of a high quality artwork, nature capture and /or if it is for one of our fun themes. For the purpose of the latter it will be enjoyed in our specialty thread only, but not the group pool.
TMI is a gallery for pictures that inspire. Our goal is for you to get a wow feeling as you browse our pages. So please join us in showcasing your BEST WORKS as we are not an everyday album.
We hope you take part in our monthly contests and fun threads. An exciting group is one where members chat, play and comment often with our awards to promote the group.

Administration Letter for all our members: May 2012
It's May already......I hope good weather has come your way. Flowers are spicing up our lives, with Mother's Day approaching. Hope you get out and take lots of pictures. Bring your best here for us to enjoy in our pool and activities.
Speaking of the best, I am seeing many things lately that I do not consider one's best. We try hard to be fair and flexible. Please avoid us having to refuse more pictures. KEEP THIS GALLERY HIGH CLASS!! We are not a snap shot type of group. Artwork is more difficult to judge, so we leave up to you, but use the guidline of your work giving you a wow and proud feeling. This group is not for testing the waters with your skills.
****We see many return so you must like this group and appreciate all our efforts to make it interesting. If you are posting here, regularly, we ask you for some help. We do not need much, mostly awarding so others know posting here is being seen. However, being a moderator can lead to other things if one is wanting. Don't have 15 min. a day to spare?, maybe you know someone who does.
