About Imagine Miami

Imagine Miami is a community effort to connect people, organizations and businesses that want to improve the quality of life in Miami-Dade. We build bridges between groups online and face-to-face through "civic networking," fostering the creative collaboration that increases impact. We spark hope and civic spirit by helping people share ideas, tools and examples of how to get involved in communities and neighborhoods.

We welcome photos that celebrate residents, groups and businesses that are making a difference. Examples: photos of local residents at a beach cleanup, picking up their neighborhood, tutoring others, celebrating cultural heritage, etc. Photos of full recycling containers at a business. Photos of community gardens, farmer's markets, unique small businesses. Photos of people registering to vote. Photos of people at a community meeting. Photos of local activism trainings. Photos of elders and youth working together. Photos of creative civic action and projects.

Inspire us with your photo. Each month, we'll select photos to add to our Website (with your permission). We'll add a description of the photo and link back to your Website/MySpace/blog.
