The Equality Trust is pleased to announce the launch of our first photo competition
The Spirit Level: images of [in]equality.

* Worried about the increasing gap between rich and poor?

* Concerned about the link between income inequality and mental illness, murder rates and poor educational performance?

* Established photographer, photography student or complete beginner?

.....then this competition is for you!

We are looking for photographic representations of both income inequality (rather than poverty) and greater income equality, photos that can grab attention, communicate and inspire.

The competition is open to all and runs until midday on 15 April 2011.
