and just so everyone has got it (which clearly they don't with some of the submissions to the group!)

About I'm Too Sad To Tell You

The title is borrowed from a piece of the same name made by the Dutch conceptual/performance artist Bas Jan Ader in 1970. His piece consisted of a silent 16mm short black and white film of himself crying uncontrollably with no explanation.

There's also a book available - "I'm Too Sad To Tell You (after Bas Jan Ader)"; conceived as a project to create an archive of self-portraits taken while crying - which also inspired this group. A number of the images in the book are from Flickr but when I looked around I couldn't find the related group... so here it is.

Please add a tag of "I'm Too Sad To Tell You"
(Don't forget the quotation marks when putting this in as a tag).
