Perhaps you loaded it up and for some reason it has been denied from one of the admins. I'm not sure if this trial counts for the number of allowed entries in the pool.
Sorry if one of us denied your picture by mistake. We get loads of pictures every day and so we depend on the titles and tags of the pictures. And it could happen that somebody didn't check the correct button (approve/deny). Sorry!

Sometimes it takes awhile for the administrators to approve an illustration. Check back later and maybe it is up.
I actually do not understand why they are screening here on flickr when they don't screen on the Illustration Friday website...
I think the screening process sort of sucks because if you upload something last minute it doesn't make it on the flickr site in time.
Oh well....too bad they feel they have to screen entries here. I guess there were too many off topic entries in the past.

OK,it did work now...but only for last week. Now we have a new topic, and the same problem appears."You´re over the group limit,do you want to go to Oranizr to tidy up?"
But I have only one picture for every topic.

I think the problem could be that all uploads have to moderated at first. Your picture was in the queue, I approved it and now it is in the group.

Just dropping in to see how the group is doing. And actually we changed the limit of the group to 1 image per week because we were getting so many off topic images. I believe that setting is still in place.

i can live with one image per week but the moderation works only if it's done daily...
i posted my image on tuesday and it still isn't there... not that it was very good but that never mattered much i think...

@paintopia: we are screening here for a good reason: many of the entries have nothing to do with the topic. (as you point out in the end)
Because of the way Flickr works, once people are a member of a group they can simply add pictures to the group in their 'organize' section.
On the illustrationfriday website people have to go through a number of stept before each picture is posted and are reminded of posting 'on topic'.
I'm sorry you feel it 'sucks', but I think the group is better for it.

i think it's hardly more work to remove unsuitable images than going through a que, and at least people see their illustrations appear at once, just like on the "real" website.

Actually it is more work, but the most important thing is, the pool is 'clean' this way. Really, more than 60 per cent of pics posted are off topic. I'm sorry if it really bothers you we screen new additions, and you can of course post only to the official illustrationfriday website.
And I repeat: illustrationfriday.com doesn't get 60 per cent off topic illustrations, because people have to go through a number of steps to add their illustration, while here people can just add 'blind' to this flickr pool. I hope this is all clear now.
I think we've had enough discussion about this topic and I am closing this thread.
