About The 2011 Illuminate Yaletown Photo Contest

Illuminate is coming back to Yaletown!! Illuminate Yaletown will be happening once again on February 11 and 12, 2011.

Illuminate Yaletown is a free winter party in Yaletown featuring contemporary light art installations to explore. This year marks a celebration of the 1st anniversary since the Winter Olympic came to Vancouver and LiveCity Yaletown.

We are running a new photo contest at the Yaletown Business Improvement Association (YBIA). Submit your photos showcasing the Illuminate Yaletown 2011 event, showing the public all the activities Vancouver (and Yaletown) has to offer.

Photo license settings on Flickr should be set to "Attribution Creative Commons." Attribution definition: “You let others copy, distribute, display, and perform your copyrighted work – and derivative works based upon it – but only if they give you credit. Only photos that are set to “Attribution Creative Commons” will be considered for the contest.

Photos must be tagged "Yaletown" and "Illuminate". Additionally, the photo must be tagged with the respective category that it's being entered into. The categories/tags, are as follows:
