23 Jul 09 - OK, the idea behind this group is simple. Find photos you like and tell the photographer why you like it. You can do this for photos already posted or find others in flickr to invite to the group so you can tell them why you like their photo using the tags provided below. This only works if you participate but it is a worthy endeavor. I've been inviting a lot of great photos to the group.

About I Like the Photo (Quality Comment Group)
The idea of this group is two fold, first to recruit members for the purpose of telling them why you like their photo. And secondly to give meaningful feedback to existing members on why you like the photos they post.
When joining this group, you are agreeing to spend some time writing a quality comment about why you like a photo along with copying and adding the following group tag (the portion between the lines) Please no nudes or inappropriate photos:

Which will look like this:
1) You may leave as many comments as you would like, but the minimum should be to comment on your favorite photo of the previous five posts. So the ratio should be, one post, one comment.
2) Comments should be thoughtful and can be fairly detailed . (Please no short comments like "Good job") Comments can definitely be constructive but should be positive in nature. We can all learn from others so please do not be afraid to suggest improvements. After all, you are commenting on the photo because you like it.
The second task for members is to go seek new members. To do this use the enclosed tag and go out and find a photo you like and post the invitation in the comment area.

1) Once an invitation is accepted, you are duty bound to go back in and write a group comment on why you liked that photo.
2) Of course once a photo has been submitted through invitation, others may choose it as a shot to also make a comment on.
My goal for starting this group is to have a place where you will get meaningful comments of a positive and constructive nature. I would like this to become a mutual admiration society.
