About IGE 2008 Mauritius

We all want to share our photos from the International Gold Event, and while Facebook is great to share small snapshots, Flickr's probably the best place to swap high resolution images. Join the group and we'll get the photo sharing started!

Here's How to Do It

Flickr allows users to upload their photos for free and download other people's photos (at full resolution) quickly and easily.

If you don't already have a Flickr account, you can get one for free by signing up at flickr.com

Once you've signed up and logged in to your account, click on "upload photos" to add your photos to your account. (I'd recommend only doing ten at a time just to make sure the system doesn't get overloaded and crash your upload.)

To share photos with all the other delegates, you can join the IGE2008 group on Flickr at www.flickr.com/groups/ige2008/

Once you're a member of the group, you'll see a button above all your photos that says "Add to Group." Clicking on that button will let you add your photos to the IGE group and look at (and download the high resolution version of) photos shared by other delegates.

If you have any questions about setting up a Flickr account or adding your photos to the group, send me a message!

If you want to see the photos that have been shared (you can only download the high quality versions if you are Flickr group member) you can see them at www.flickr.com/groups/ige2008/

Have stories to share in addition to photos? You can still post to the IGE blog. Find out how by going here:
