About I FIXED YOUR PIC -The Original !

Don't be fooled by imitation groups. We were the first and the Original group offering photo editing assistance to Flickr members and we are still going strong three years later.

Guidelines for Photo Editors

This Group is reserved solely for photos that have been edited for members of the FIX MY PIC group. No other photos, images, or artistic creations may be posted in this group.

* Images posted that do not belong in this group will be removed without Notice


Photo Editors
We suggest you join both the "Fix My Pic" and "I Fixed Your Pic" groups before you begin editing photos.

* Joining the "Fix My Pic" group will allow you to participate in Discussions that generally occur there among other Photo Editors and Posters. You will also have the ability to post a Before and After copy of your work in the Before and After thread for the current month.

* Joining the "I Fixed Your Pic Group will allow you to post your finished work into the group pool; as well as, join in on any Discussions occurring here, or begin one of your own.

Edit as many photos as you like from the FIX MY PIC group pool. Be sure to read the Guidelines before you begin. If you have any questions, feel free to ask the Administrators for assistance.


Before Posting your edited work:
You must credit the original photographer and clearly identify your work as a fixed version for the Fix My Pic group.

* Post a link crediting the photographer in the Description under your fixed work. The link should lead to the original image posted in the photographer's photostream.

* Post a small copy of the original photo in the Comment section under your fixed work.

Only then may you post your work into the I Fixed Your Pic group pool, or to the "Before and After" Discussion thread located at "Fix My Pic."

Reposting Edited Work / Posting Edited Work Late
In an effort to keep the opening page of the group pool current and fresh, reposting edited work is not permitted. Reposting means, you may not delete edits previously entered into the "I Fixed Your Pic" pool at an earlier date and repost them to the pool as new.

Posting edited work late is also not permitted. If the original photo is no longer in the "Fix My Pic" group pool it is too late to post your edit.

*Reposted photos and Late Photos will be deleted from the pool without Notice.


Additional Information
By nature this group is not about competition. We urge members to work together and help each other out with advice, opinions and by offering different versions of the posted photos.

This is a family friendly group. Nudity, semi-nudity, or sensationalism of any kind is not permitted.

If you have a photograph you would like fixed, improved, restored, changed, manipulated, or photoshopped, please post it in the FIX MY PIC group.


The Group Guidelines are subject to revision as deemed necessary by the images submitted to the pool. Please review them periodically.
