Morris and Rose Michtom invented the Teddy Bear in 1903 and founded Ideal Novelty and Toy Company in 1906. Generations remember Ideal Toys, from their Shirley Temple, Crissy, and Betsy Wetsy dolls (and don't forget Giggles, Miss Revlon, Tammy and Pepper) to fun games like Battling Tops, Hands Down, KerPlunk and KaBoom! They made robots like the Zeroids. And what about that Kookie Kamera? Do you remember Mouse Trap and Mr. Machine? How about Captain Action and Evel Knieval?

Post new and vintage photos of toys, dolls, and games manufactured by The IDEAL TOY COMPANY. Scans of old ads and catalogs are welcome! No limits to the numbers you post.
