About ID Please
Three of the four long-time, active "ID Please" admins have created this group as a response to repeated problems with an unruly admin. Unfortunately, Flickr does not have any options for dealing with problem admins, and we do not wish to abandon the group or give up on our goal of helping people identify photos, so we are moving the group here.

Most of the "experts" here deal with insects, plants, flora and fauna, but post anything you want, provided you follow THESE 5 RULES:
1. You MUST include LOCATION with each photo (P.S. - other info helps too! Include, when relevant: habitat, size, etc.). Also, don't forget, Flickr users come here from around the world. "Georgia" means different things to different people...so do state or territory abbreviation.
2. Please make sure your photo is added directly to the pool BEFORE posting a discussion topic. Chances are, it will get an id before you even need to post!
3. Leave your images in the group, so that others can learn from them.
4. Be nice, and be courteous. This should go without saying, but...
5. Location - Did we mention LOCATION? Don't forget to add it!!!
