About ichi go ichi e / 一期一会
ONE TIME, ONE MEETING
Ichi go, ichi e (一期一会) is a Japanese term literally meaning "one time, one meeting". This group is a place to post photos that capture a fleeting moment in time that will never happen again, or never happen the same again. While it is true that most experiences and objects change with time, the focus of this group is on capturing that fleeting and unique moment that will never be witnessed, experienced, or seen again. The focus is temporal and experiential—things or experiences that are here just for a moment and then gone.
The pool will be periodically cleaned to make sure the collection stays true to the spirit of the group.
Please limit posts to five per day.
Please tag your photos with the tag, "ichi go ichi e" (make sure you use the quotes). Overall, have fun and enjoy the photos! Happy posting!
