09 Jan 12 - Winter 2010/2011 produced many fine photo opportunities across North America and Europe. Sadly so far this winter La Niña has kept much of North America snow and ice free. Please remember to geotag your photos so they show up on our group map.

UPDATE: revised the group rules to limit submissions to 5 per day.

About Snow and Ice Sailing

Please enjoy photos of sailing on snow or ice, whether with an iceboat, icesurfer, kite, snowfer, windski, kitewing, or windsurf rig. A few shots of iceboats at rest or iceboaters warming up are welcome too. If you have any to add, join the group and jump in! Limit 5 photos per day, please submit your best shots only.

Note: Admin/Moderators reserve the right to remove submissions that do not portray sailing on snow or ice. This is a group for sailing on ice, not through ice, so no images of historical icebreakers please. :)
