About IBM Hursley Fly Fishing Club

The IBM Hursley Fly Fishing Club, formed in 1984 and now celebrating its 25th year, is a sub-section of the IBM Laboratories Club and welcomes new members whether being introduced to the sport of fly fishing or experienced anglers. The club has a good number of regular trip members, annual club and national competitions, including a several-day trip to Rutland Water in Leicestershire.

The club website has now been redesigned, moved to the new club server and our new logo incorporated, including a special 25th anniversary version, which we intend to have turned into apparel, yet to be decided. Each month from April to November the club organises a trip to a local trout fly fishing lake. The trip is normally on the first Saturday of the month with the option of going on the following Wednesday instead which is popular with some IBM retirees.
