About Halifax Boys Brigade Battalion Photos 2010/11
Categories
Each category (with the exception of open) has a Junior Section level and a Company Section level. The top three entries will be provided a certificate and the overall winning entry will be given a prize to be determined later.
Landscapes
To include pictures of the natural world, including architecture, landscape vistas and other images not focussing on a single subject. For example a picture looking across the Calder Valley into Halifax town centre would be entered in this category.
Portraits
To include pictures of people, can include more than one person and is not limited in scope. For example a picture of your parents or of a friend in fancy dress would be entered in this category.
Life
To include pictures of the rest of the living world, from plants through to animals and other natural phenomena. For example images of flowers would be entered in this category.
Open
This category can be entered by staff as well as boys. Entired on anything possible can be entered into this category, provided they wouldn't obviously be entered into one of the other categories.
Staff entries are encouraged for a bit of healthy competition.

DEADLINE Midnight Sunday 12th December 2010. No picture after this date will be entered.
