About Human Hunt
Those Homo Sapiens what are they up to? Day by day rushing trough the streets on what purpose, intention, motive? What are they really like? Can we ever get familiar with their nature? Despite thorough examination... no true cognition of the subject was gained. Previous methodology failed... it's high time we change direction... Welcome to the realm of Human Hunt!
Human Hunt Rules:
1. Free float through the streets for a while, it’s where you can find them.
2. Always have your camera ready. They sometimes act in least expected moment.
3. Find an interesting example/exapmles and follow it/them. It cannot be a representative that you already know. We assume that it’s the best if you see him/her/them for the first time.
4. Stay undetected! It’s the only way to capture what they really are.
Focus on emotion, activity, personal characteristic, relations or group identity. We believe they are keywords to understand them.
5. You got just one shot. Withdraw immediately after you hit the prey. Remember to take a good position, which gives an advantage to the Hunter. You can aim long and accurately then. Trust your zoom.
6. When your intention is read by the target withdraw immediately. In close contact during the Hunt, we can never expect what will happen. A photo taken when the prey is aware of it has no value for us.
7. Remember of ethical aspect of the Hunt - no manipulation to gain specific effect, no interaction with your prey, no shooting Human representatives in great misery allowed. Use so called emphaty. The Hunt is all about capturing their true nature.
8. Summarize your observations and conclusions about them by naming the photo. Try to get the essence of the Hunt in words.
9. Just slight image postprocessing eg. crop, converting into b&w, adding contrast etc. allowed. Heavy use of photoshop wolud by like hitting a lamb with a maverick missle. It's not the Hunter's way.
10. Now go out and hunt !!!
