Hub Bay Area

The Hub Bay Area is an umbrella term for the network of Hubs to be scattered around the Bay Area. A city network, within a geographic network, within a global network if you will. We are affiliated with 12 up and running Hubs across 4 continents and are now bringing this community network here for the first time in the U.S. The first Hub to be established will be Hub Berkeley found in the beautifully sustainable David Brower Center and set to open its doors in September with the Hub San Francisco following later in the fall.

So what is the Hub?

The Hub is a physical space where the leaders and advocates of social innovation gather to build a community geared to address the world's most pressing issues in a revolutionary and collaborative way. Where the idealists, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and investors who truly believe in social change for the better no longer watch from the sidelines, but simply get things done. So if you are a free-lance professional working alone from home, a passionate activist amongst the community, or even someone who just wants to be involved in the for-front of social innovation; The Hub is waiting for you.
