10 Oct 10 - After collecting Howard Pierce figurines for a few years, we figured it was time to start a Flickr group! We hope to share his amazing work with everyone in the Flickr community.

As with other collectible groups, please do not post content of the buy/sell nature, as it is against Flickr rules - we would have to regretfully delete the photo from the pool. Thanks for understanding.

About Howard Pierce

This is a fan group dedicated to Howard Pierce.

Howard Pierce was a remarkable California artist producing wonderful ceramic figurines in his studio/workshops, first in Claremont and then Joshua Tree, California from the late 1930's until he passed away in 1994. His main medium was porcelain (clay, single firing), although he also worked in concrete, plastic, plaster, brass, pewter, drawings, and anything else he found around the house. Art was his life.

We are not affiliated with Howard Pierce, just fans of his work.
