Starwood has been innovative in combining design and technology to create hotels that are fashionable and user-friendly.
Not to be outdone, I've also posted pictures of Marriott's new Courtyard lobby concept including the "Go Board" and a complete re-design of the registration and dining areas--all with the intention of drawing guests out of their rooms.

These innovations provide a model for anyone in a consumer-facing business. In health care, for instance, we can learn a lot from these designs to create a more positive patient experience.
