19 Oct 11 - Thanks to all who took part in the Hope Contest!

The first prize was awarded to "sudiptopix" for the photo WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT bit.ly/reIR8k. The second prize went to "And®e" for bit.ly/qnSAzc. The third prize was awarded to "tbalakshin" for the photo FORM bit.ly/o9O0JS. The winner will visit Lausanne and receive photographic equipment worth Euros 2,000. The 2nd and the 3rd winner will receive photographic equipment respectively worth 1,000 and 500 Euros.

About Hope Photo Contest

The Olympic Museum in Lausanne (Switzerland) is holding a photo contest from 31 March to 15 September 2011. A jury will choose the best entry, which will become a permanent part of the International Olympic Committee’s digital collection.

The lucky winner will get a trip to Lausanne and visit the Olympic Museum. Other prizes include photo and/or video equipment. Please read the Group Rules for more information.

Photographer’s brief
To be eligible to win, take one or more photos that represent one or more of the Olympic values:

• Friendship through sport
• Respect through sport
• Excellence through sport

On a regular basis and for a limited period of time, a random selection of photos submitted to the contest will be featured in the HOPE temporary exhibition at The Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
