Welcome to the official English Heritage holiday cottages Flickr group.

English Heritage has 16 cottages to rent, all located at the heart of England's most iconic historic sites.

Our holiday cottages range from 12th century tower apartments to expansive family homes all nestled in the grounds of our most important historic sites.

Each comes superbly equipped and designed, with five star contemporary design in harmony with historic interiors, and with free entry to all English Heritage sites during your stay, come rain or shine you'll never be stuck for ideas on your holiday.

And at the end of each day, as the last visitor leaves the site and the gates close behind them, the grounds of the castle, abbey or stately home are yours and only yours to revel in, you'll be experiencing these surroundings as if you were living there yourself hundreds of years ago.
