About Yahoo! Holiday Traditions 2008

Family traditions bring us together. We identify ourselves by these traditions whether they are spiritual or cultural. Families hand them down from generation to generation, giving each of us a sense of history, place and connection with who we are and where we have come from.
From an annual trip to the local pumpkin patch, to a cookie baking party or even a candle lighting ritual, these traditions strengthen the bonds we already have with each other, and they can also create new ones. As cultures and faiths merge and evolve many of us are inventing new traditions for our families, while others help old traditions to live on.
