About Cyra Hobson's "Anew"

On August 24th, 2009, sculptor Cyra Hobson placed a set of sculptures called "Anew" in Gasworks Park. The Seattle Times, Seattle P-I, and other news outlets profiled the installation, which was initially left anonymously and without permission. Later, Ms. Hobson allowed her name to be printed and told newspapers that she hoped Seattle would be inspired to discuss art as well as indicated that people should take the individual pieces. "Anew" was her gift to Seattle.

This group is for pictures of the sculptures (both at Gasworks and elsewhere) and for artwork inspired by "Anew."
