About Half-Life 2 Photography

Take a screenshot of a scene in Half-Life 2 (including the Episodes and Portal), and make it look and feel like an artistic or journalistic photograph. (Filters discouraged—do it with framing and choice of scene.)

For best results, hide your HUD and weapon. Open the developer console (enable in advanced keyboard prefs, then press `), then type:

sv_cheats 1
impulse 200 [This hides your weapon, and requires sv_cheats 1]
cl_drawhud 0 [This hides your HUD, and does not require sv_cheats 1, but will be reset if you type sv_cheats 1 after it]

To reverse these settings, type sv_cheats 0, then switch to a weapon and back.
