About Waterfalls of Hong KongDue to the geographic conditions of Hong Kong, that is, the absence of towering mountain and turbulent waters, one would not expect to find magnificient waterfalls like those of Niagara and Yosemite. However, there is no lack of tranquil brooks and steep rock streams among the hilly terrain in the territories, and the bountiful rainfall in the sub-tropical summers that floods the floors of gullies and valleys creates equally spectacular display of falling waters. |
