About ₪ HISTORY & MYSTERY Society ₪ (Post 1 ~ Award 3)
 
₪ HISTORY & MYSTERY Society ₪ is a group designed for distinguished photographers whose mutual interests are history and mystery. Our "H&M" expects and accepts best of your images, both photographs and short videos, showcasing a connection to the subject of history and/or mystery.
₪ Please add to your image its location, historical significance, date, or your personal reflection on mystery pictures, within either a subject title, tags, or a caption description. The information could be as short or long as you wish and cross-linked to any relevant source (such as: a Wikipedia link).
₪ Avoid photographing people or modern vehicles in your historical photos, unless they are a part of the depicted history itself (e.g., an old portrait, painting, statue, or reenactment). No nudity, horror, or current events. Images not in compliance with these guidelines could be deleted without prior notice.
₪ HISTORY: archeological digs and findings, ancient ruins, castles; sacred places (churches, temples, shrines, mosques), cemeteries; historic buildings, museums, monuments; historic battlefields, sites, parks; weapons, vehicles, bridges; documents, books, maps; artifacts, objects, coins; old machines, instruments, tools; paintings, drawings, statues; people of/in history, old photos, reenactments, etc.
₪ MYSTERY: old drawings, vintage pictures, cards; locations known in legends, folklore, reenactments, celebrations; images with some mystery element / mood; mysterious places and scenes in pics not necessarily connected with history itself (for instance, a misty, foggy, hazy, or dark landscape, rural or urban place; a lonely individual walking down an alley, etc.)
