About Historic Virginia - Buildings and Architecture

This group is for historic architecture. We'll be working to the National Register of Historic Places criteria, which means anything over 50 years old is eligible for the group pool. Please do not post any building that is under 50 years old--it will be removed from the pool.

Only buildings that are located in the state of Virginia are eligible.

When adding a building to the group please add the city or county the building is located in to your tags.

If you know the name, general date of construction, or architectural style, etc. it would be helpful to note these in your tags as well.

Exterior, interior, and architectural detail shots are welcome. Your photos can have people in them, but the building should be the focus.

Just to clarify, this group is for historic ARCHITECTURE only. Monuments, statues, tombstones, historic artifacts, and modern architecture do not fit the goals of the group and will be removed from the group pool.
