About Historic Ohio

This group is to highlight historic places in Ohio. To borrow the cliche, "All history is local." This group encourages submissions of things that highlight local history.

Something doesn't have to be famous to be historic; it simply needs to relate to something in Ohio's past. It could be Fort Ancient, Perry's Monument, or the local mom-and-pop diner that's been around since the 1940s.

Although your photo doesn't have to have a description, it would be nice to have one so that people can learn about Ohio's rich and diverse history.

Please consider adding the city or county name in the photo's tags. Geotagging is also encouraged.

Whether it is known throughout the world, throughout the state, or just your neighborhood, if it relates to Ohio's past, this is the place!

NOTE: this is a family-friendly group. The closest thing to porn on this group should be a picture of Larry Flynt's old house in Bexley :-)
