10 Dec 11 - Hey...I just wanted to thank you all for helping make this group a success. We just hit 50 members this week and now have well over 500 fantastic pics in the photo pool!
I started this group because I wanted a place where ALL types of Indiana's historic bridges could be displayed and I think we have indeed shown everyone that Historic Hoosier Bridges come in all shapes and sizes!
Thanks again!

About Historic Hoosier BridgesA specialized group that will focus on historic metal; wood; stone and concrete bridges in the state of Indiana. The emphasis here will be on Indiana bridges ONLY. As a general rule, I consider a bridge historic if it is at least 50 years old. Of course there are always exceptions so use your best judgement, or if your not sure feel free to ask me. No modern "Romantic Shelter" covered bridges please! |
