About Historic Brattonsville

Welcome to Historic Brattonsville on Flickr!

This 775-acre Revolutionary War living history site features more than 30 historic structures. These “house museums” chronicle the development of the Carolina Piedmont from the 1750s through the 1840s. Historic Brattonsville is one of the few living history sites with African-American interpretation.

Have you visited Historic Brattonsville recently? Now is your chance to share your photos with the world. Join the group, pick your best photos, and become a part of the Historic Brattonsville photo pool gallery.

We look forward to seeing your photos!

Historic Brattonsville is part of a linked system of cultural facilities that includes the McCelvey Center, the Museum of York County, and the new museum being developed on the Catawba River. The parent non-profit organization is the Culture & Heritage Museums, whose mission is to create an enlightened and engaged citizenry by keeping, communicating and connecting our cultural, historical and natural heritage in ways that promote deeper understanding of people and place.
