About Historical and Abandoned Edmonton

Post your photos of buildings located in and around Edmonton that are recognized Municipal Historic Resource by the Edmonton Historical Board or that have historical significance in the region (including St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Devon, Leduc, and Beaumont).

Plaques and plates with details are most welcome as well. At this point I'm not picky about natural or processed images, I just think it's important that we start a collective group for it.

Please geo-tag your photos with locations as this will assist in others being able to locate and shoot these historical buildings and landmarks.

Also, tagging your photos with "historical edmonton", "municipal historic resource", and "edmonton historical board" accordingly would be useful as well. Note, only tag with Municipal Historic Resource if it is designated as such, likewise with Edmonton Historical Board.

UPDATE: We're going to open this to abandoned buildings within these areas as well. However, this is not the place for photos of abandoned farms, shacks and the likes - you can sumbit those to Historical and Abandoned Alberta, all abandoned structures must be located within the areas listed above. And remember to geo-tag your photos so others can find them and photograph them as well!
