30 Aug 11 - I am quitting this group. It is going to be too hard to get just the pictures up here that the group was designed to capture. Plus after searching through Flickr for pictures to invite, I couldn't find many. So, I will be quitting the group and if the other two members also quit, then the group will disappear. Sorry, its just too hard to create the type of group i am looking for.

About American Trucking HistoryI realize that we have many pictures of old time trucking scattered throughout Flickr, so it is my desire to consolidate them all in one group. Only old pictures will be allowed here. No restored trucks, no modern pictures of old trucks, no pictures of old trucks rusting away in some field. Only original pictures taken in the 40s, 50s 60s and 70s will be allowed. I will not require approval to post, but will remove any pictures that don't belong. Make sure the picture was taken by you or someone you know (like your dad), and not scanned from a magazine or book. |
