The moment in Silver Lake when Anyone is an Artist Anywhere...

The Silver Lake Arts & Culture Committee invites the entire community to snap a photo at exactly 12pm on Saturday March 21. Photos may then be submitted to our online Flickr gallery or printed copies may be submitted for display at our weekend of Gallery Showings around SIlver Lake.

HOW TO SUBMIT

Upload your Photos to our Flickr Gallery by following the steps below.

1. Join Flickr.
2. Become a member of the "Hi, Noon" group by visiting this page and clicking "Join this group?"
3. Upload pictures to your photostream.
4. Click the uploaded image and select "Send to group".

Photograph entries must have been taken at Noon on Saturday, March 21, 2009 and must have been taken in, or must be about Silver Lake.

Submissions for Gallery Showing:

Only entries submitted by printed copy to one of the several submission locations by the deadline will be displayed during the "Hi, Noon;" Gallery event around Silver Lake. Photographs will be displayed as submitted, so it is encourage to mount or frame your photographs. All sizes, colors, designs, and styles are welcome for the Gallery displays. SLACC will decide where each photograph is displayed.

In order for your work to be displayed please include your name and e-mail address with your entry. If possible, also include a caption for the photo.

Deadline:
Submissions must be received no later than March 28, 2009. This holds for both digital and hardcopy submissions.

RULES

The Silver Lake Art & Culture Committee invites interested parties to submit photographs that have been taken at Noon on Saturday, March 21, 2009 in Silver Lake or pertaining to Silver Lake.

SLACC retains sole discretion over the selection of, and the decision not to select, any particular Entry for publication or display.

By submitting an Entry for consideration, you warrant and represent that:

Your Entry is your own original work and you alone own copyright to your Entry. No other party has any right, title, claim or interest in your Entry and publication or display of your Entry does not violate or infringe another person's rights; and

You have the approval of all individuals depicted in your Entry to use their images and likenesses for your submission and possible publication or display.

If SLACC determines in its sole discretion that any of the above warranties or representations has been breached, SLACC reserves the right to reject the Entry and to remove or delete the Entry from any publication or other display.

All Entries will become the property of SLACC. SLACC will have no obligation to return the copies of your Entry to you.
