About Hines Park
Hines Park is jewel of Wayne County. Originally conceived of by Henry Ford and made up of much land he donated, Edward Hines constructed the road along the flood plain of the Rouge River in 1949.
Hines Park runs 18 miles from Dearborn to Northville and is a favorite spot for anyone who appreciates the wonderful scenic beauty, wildlife, and a reminder of what wonderful nature we have here in Southeast Michigan. Since I was a kid I remember people going down to bike, walk, play softball, show off their car, go sledding, or just hang out.
This group is for any pictures taken in Hines Park or along Hines Drive. Anything having to with the Park or Drive should fit the bill. This can include (and is not limited to) nature, animals, events (like the Christmas Lights), architecture (like crumbling "comfort stations"), and people.
If possible, add a location so we can find where you took your photo!
