About High Peaks of the Northeast
This Group is for photos of the highest peaks in the Northeast from NY to Maine. These mountains should be over 4,000 feet in elevation. There are many different clubs that organize these peaks into lists such as the Adirondack 46ers, The AMC 4000-footer club, and also the Northeast 111ers. I've seen many flickr users out there with 46er comments so I thought I would create this. I've found the coordinate points for all the summits. Please feel free to add your summit photos and trip photos to mine. There are plenty of other groups out there for posting pics of the land and smaller mountains so I'd like to keep this restricted to just those peaks over 4,000 feet and people's experiences climbing them.
