About Hidden Places of the World

This is a group for photos of places the majority of us will never see, unless stumbled upon by accident. Covered alleys, industrial parks, below elevated train tracks, but also inaccessible country roads, meadows so far removed from urbanity one has to know where they are to find them, and islands so unknown they're rarely found even on maps.

Do you have a secret place where you take refuge from the rest of the world? Take a self-portrait while there and share it here; you're not required to tell anyone - even us - where it is. In fact, in the spirit of this group, I'd even encourage you not to geotag these photos. It's far more fun to stumble on something unknown than to arrive already knowing what you'll be seeing!
