About HI 2059

HI 2059 is a creative exploration of six critical issues facing Hawaii, with the intent of generating constructive dialogue and insight into how individuals can influence the future of our society.

This Flickr group will be used to facilitate photo submissions for a series of projects related to each issue. For example, our first issue is Transportation, and our first project is a photo-hunt entitled "Hummer vs. Hybrid". We want you to submit photos of either a Hummer or a Hybrid vehicle. That's it! Pretty simple huh? Just make sure to include the following tags for each submission: "transportation", and either "hummer" or "hybrid".

Please review the group rules prior to submitting photos to the pool.


Group Rules

Membership

This is an open group and membership is not limited in any fashion. You do not need to be a resident of Hawaii.

Submissions

Photos posted to the pool must have been taken in Hawaii. Furthermore, submissions must be relevant to the ongoing project or they will be rejected. Projects will be posted via a group announcement, and will contain explicit directions for how to participate. These projects may change frequently, so please confirm the ongoing project prior to submitting a photo.

Submissions are limited to one (1) per day.

Tagging

Each topic will be given a tag, and we ask that you please tag your submission appropriately to help with the archival process. For example, if the ongoing topic is "Transportation", please ensure your submission is tagged "transportation". Any additional tag information will be provided in the project announcement.

We also ask that you please geotag your submissions, so they may be found via Flickr's map feature. For more information about how to geotag, please watch this screencast.

Respect

Please respect your fellow group members. This community should be safe and fun for all. If you conduct yourself in a manner that is threatening or inappropriate, you will be removed.
