About Hexanon & Hexar Users Group (aka HHUG)
'The lens alone is worth the price.' - A quote from an old Konica camera ad.
HHUG is here to show off images made with vintage Hexanon and Hexar lenses as used on by Konica (and, of course, Konishiroku, Rokuoh-Sha, etc.) cameras.
Please share your images made by these great old lenses, no matter what camera they were used on or what format or type of film was used.
All we ask it that you please carefully tag your image with the details of lens, camera and film. This is important so that people who visit here wanting to see how a specific Hexanon, Hexar (etc.) lens performs can search and find your images as samples.
HHUG is a companion group to the Yahoo! KonicaSLR discussion group at tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/konicaslr/
You don't need to be a member of the Yahoo! group to share your photos here. Of course, you're invited to visit, join and participate in KonicaSLR (at the above link) if you wish. There you will find nearly 1000 Konica users from all over the world and a pretty much constant chatter about our great old cameras and lenses. It's a great source of information and not just about Konica SLRs and their related lenses and accessories, either, even though 'SLR' is part of the group's name... We have a lot of Hexar/rangefinder/viewfinder, TLR, medium format and even large format camera using members, too! Some are digital shooters, too, including a few experimenting with adapting K/AR mount Hexanons to Olympus DSLR (FourThirds) use.
At this point, we may or may not have much discussion here. If you have questions, it would be best to visit tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/konicaslr/ , join so you can search the archives or ask a question of the group at large or of our moderators.
Thanks for visiting and adding your images to the Hexanon & Hexar User Group galleries!
