About Heso Magazine Reader's Group
Heso Magazine is a bilingual (English/Japanese) culture magazine featuring articles of public interest in Japan and the world, the work of notable photographers, interviews with high-profile individuals, introductions to NGOs/NPOs, poetry, art, essays, music reviews, classic movies reconsidered , book snapshots, recommended destinations and more. Heso Magazine is distributed every two months for free at close to 200 locations in Kyushu (mainly Fukuoka) and Kanto (Tokyo, Yokohama and surrounding areas), as well as select cities around the world.
We hope to use this space on flickr to discuss content in Heso Magazine (both published and upcoming), submit photographs for upcoming articles as requested, share information and celebrate Heso Magazine. This group will inevitably evolve as we find better, newer ways to tap its potential as a resource for the enjoyment and growth of Heso Magazine.
Heso Magazine has grown in a grassroots way, with friends telling friends and new people discovering it along the way. We'd like the group to grow in the same manageable way so for now membership is possible through invites. If you know of someone who is a reader, or someone who can contribute in a valuable way to the discussions, please invite them. If you'd simply like to join us, contact one of the Admins and get yourself a copy!
