I am so excited, I made a list of all of the stamps I own that are in the Catalog and I have at least 20! Plus I just ordered a bunch more through the LSS I work for. YIPPEE!
One of my goals for 2009 was to set aside more time for the things I enjoy, especially cardmaking - entering HA contests is certainly a great motivator. I've been pretty slack so far but my desk is getting cleaner so that's a positive step in the right direction!
I get so overwhelmed by all the amazing talent here - it's a little intimidating but even moreso inspiring.

I am wondering if we can submit items that have won (1st, 2nd, 3rd & HM's) previous challenges? Just curious...

I can't even begin to imagine all of the time it would take me to come up with card ideas good enough to enter this part of the blog challenge. I'm still working my way up to an "honorable mention" in one of the weekly challenges! With all of you other incredibly inspiring and talented people out there I'm sure they will have plenty to choose from:)

I agree with Virginia. If you are really happy/proud with a particular card or LO, why not enter it. That's what I do. To me the idea of winning is about as far a way as the moon *grin*. But we can still say hey I love this card or I'm proud of what I've done. I bet every one in this group probably feels the same way. Go for it, then you can say you gave it your best shot. ;-)

I won my day with the wonderful Lisa herself by simply adding an extra tag to my uploads -- not really expecting to hit the jackpot! At the time, I've only been a part of this group for about a month and haven't won anything but Fresh Face, lol! So, anything is possible!

You win the honor to present some of your own creations for one day on the blog. After 5 people have been chosen according to the process that Lisa explained in the first entry of this thread, they each make several cards and on each person's allotted day on the blog her cards are featured, presented by the Hero artist who chose her.

I'm with stonebakerlady in that I'm new to this as well and working my way up to being recognized, but this contest does get me motivated again to post an entry each week. Do I understand correctly that past creations can be tagged for this new contest? But also each creation has to have one stamp in the 2009 catalog?

Lisa's information says you'll be "using at least one stamp from the 2009 Catalog" so you can tag it 2009catalog to enter this particular contest. At the same time, you can enter the weekly challenges - I like these two-for-one deals:)

I have put "2009catalog" as tag, for my LOVE layout....and when I search all the entries, I don't find my page...and you?
I love Hero Arts stamps....even it's difficult to find all of them in France...so I often go to Belgium....
