October 2011 HPC Photo Contest: Warmth

Our October 2011 Henry's Photo Club (HPC) contest is for best Warmth picture. The winner will get a $250 Henry’s Gift Card to spend on anything they like that Henry’s carries.

If you would like to take part in this photo contest, please submit one entry, with the tag hpc_warmth to the HPC Flickr Group photo pool and then add that entry below as a reply to this discussion topic. Both steps must be completed for the photo to qualify for the contest.

Please keep in mind that when we’re judging contest photo entries we look for good photo technique as well as the subject matter and prefer photos that have not been heavily manipulated with image enhancing software.

Submissions close at 11:59 pm EST on October 31, 2011 and the winner will be announced by November 20, 2011 on henrysphotoclub.com

By submitting your Canada photo to the contest you confirm that you are the lawful copyright holder for the image. You also agree to give us an non-exclusive right to display the photo on the Henry’s Photo Club website at henrysphotoclub.com. A model release, signed by the portrait subject, or in the case of a minor, a parent or guardian, will also have to be submitted for the winning entry in order to claim the prize.

As the photographer you must be 18 years old or older to participate.

This contest in not valid in Quebec.

Please note: You can submit up to 3 photos a day in this Flickr group's photo pool but if you're taking part in the month's contest only one of your images should have the photo contest tag. For example for the July photo contest only one of your images should have the tag hpc_Canada.

OK, I can get the photo to appear when I'm logged in...but when I log out the photo disappears. Is that normal? Or do I have to change the privacy settings on my Flikr account?
